Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez will face the press this Tuesday, May 12, at 6:00 PM local time.
It is unusual for him to appear in such public settings, but recent events within the first team have made it necessary.
According to the club’s statement, Pérez “will appear in the press room of the Ciudad Real Madrid after the Board of Directors meeting and will hold a press conference to answer media questions.”
The altercation between Aurélien Tchouaméni and Federico Valverde, which ended with the Uruguayan in the hospital with a head injury and a fine of €500,000 for each player, has tarnished the club’s image globally. This unprecedented incident is something Real Madrid cannot tolerate.
Additionally, finishing the season without any titles, always trailing Barcelona—as happened last season since winning the UEFA Super Cup against Atalanta in summer 2024—has left fans extremely dissatisfied with the sporting management.
