Pro wrestling’s “Sun God” Sareee made a surprise appearance at singer Hitomi Shimatani’s “Taiyoshin Prism Release Event” held at CREAM LIVE ASAKUSA in Taito Ward on May 10. Taking the stage, she passionately performed her own entrance theme “Taiyoshin Prism” for the first time in front of a live audience.
Sareee had previously promised during Hitomi Shimatani’s live event on May 6 that she would sing at the May 10 event. True to her word, when the instrumental for “Taiyoshin Prism” began at the finale of both the first and second parts of the event, the wrestler gripped the microphone with a bit of nervousness before launching into a duet with the seasoned pop star.
“This is my first experience at a music event,” Sareee revealed after the performance, adding with a smile, “Singing really requires stamina.”
Shimatani, who had watched Sareee take on Ayame Takumi at the May 5 Marvelous event at Yokohama BUNTAI, commented that she’s becoming increasingly drawn to the world of professional wrestling.
