Famous football commentator Konstantin Genich has weighed in on Krasnodar’s defeat in the 29th round of the Russian Premier League against Dynamo Moscow. During the match, Dynamo goalkeeper Andrey Lunyov made two crucial saves, while striker Ivan Sergeev scored the winning goal in stoppage time of the second half, securing all three points for his team. The game ended 2-1.
Dynamo Moscow claimed victory, with the scoreline reading: 0-1 (Kosta, 32′), 1-1 (Tyukavin, 48′), 2-1 (Sergeev, 90+3′).
“Sergeev and Lunyov played for Zenit again today… Hollywood couldn’t have scripted this. Life is the best dramatist,” Genich wrote on his personal Telegram channel.
It’s worth noting that Sergeev played for Zenit St. Petersburg from 2022 to 2024, while Lunyov was with the club from 2017 to 2021.
Following this match, Dynamo Moscow sits in eighth place in the Russian Premier League standings with 42 points. Krasnodar, with 63 points, occupies second place. Zenit tops the table with 65 points.
