Barcelona’s campaign has been historically impressive. With 30 wins from 35 league matches, they have posted the best record at this stage in LaLiga history. The team is on pace to reach 100 points, matching the marks set by José Mourinho’s Real Madrid in 2011/12 and Tito Vilanova’s Barcelona the following season.

Hansi Flick’s domestic dominance continues. The German coach has never lost a league competition in his managerial career, having won the Bundesliga in both of his seasons at Bayern Munich and now two LaLiga titles with Barcelona. Since arriving at Camp Nou, Flick has won every domestic trophy except this season’s Copa del Rey, where Atlético Madrid eliminated his side. In the UEFA Champions League, Barcelona reached the semifinals last season and were knocked out in the quarterfinals this term—again by Atlético.
