Agent Ivan Botev of Titan Sport Consulting has addressed the future of Dynamo Moscow forward Maxim Komтуа.
Earlier, new Dynamo head coach Leonid Tambiev announced that the club intends to trade Komтуа. Titan Sport Consulting represents the player.
“How did Tambiev’s decision to move on from him affect Komтуа?”
“I will meet with Dynamo management soon. We’ll talk and see where things stand today, then we’ll decide.”
“Dynamo has already stated that Maxim will be traded.”
“They may want to trade him, but the key is whether Maxim is willing to join the team they choose. The player must agree to any transfer. If he is traded to Neftekhimik—nothing personal, I hope sporting director Anton Marchinsky won’t be offended—or Amur, then he will definitely not go there and will leave the KHL,” Botev said.
Tambiev confirmed that Dynamo will trade Komтуа: “He’s not a foreign player, if we have to deal with him. I’d rather put my knowledge and energy into young players.”
